why is it so loud?

We like everything about this new fridge EXCEPT that is runs full time and is loud. Makes a loud whining noise that we can hear 3/4 the way through our house. Wondering if I got a defective one? Our 20 year old fridge made no noise except when making a new tray of ice. Could not be more disappointed.

We love our new Frigidaire refrigerator. It has a lot of space for everything. The water and ice dispenser is small but provides ample amounts of ice. The freezer pull out is very convenient and has more storage than you would expect. Overall great product and we are happy with our purchase.

Love the color, the design, the shelves and 2 ice makers are wonderful. The deli drawer and veggie crisper work perfect and ample room for storage.

We purchased a refrigerator, over, microwave and dishwasher. The fridge doors are French and have clear trays that go in the door for shelves. The shelves have been falling out since day one with no weight in them. Tried swapping around to different locations on the door. Called and had a technician come out. He rescheduled on us. Finally came out. Didn't communicate. Haven't heard anything from the repair person they sent out as well as the manufacturer. It has been since February 18th. (When we received out appliances, which had been rescheduled 4 times and the manufacturer said don't worry well compensate you) they gave us 100.00 usd back. Also the ice maker hasn't worked from the get go but who really cares at this point. I'd prefer you pick everything up and let me go with a more trusted brand.

I have the counter depth style. Plenty of space for everything! The layout of space for the different compartments is very good. Runs quietly. BUT, the ice makers are AMAZING! One in the door and one below in the freezer compartment. We are satisfied and pleased!
