My kids were drinking plastic bits

This product came loose and was crushed into the ice. I didn’t realize it had happened until I found shards of it in my crushed ice. I have 5 kids who all use ice in their drinks. So gross.

This is the third cup drive that has broken on me and this one didn't even last 8 months.

This part is total Garbage. It obviously gets brittle in the freezer and cracks rendering the ice maker useless, not to mention its $30 for a cheap piece of plastic!! This was an expensive refrigerator and the ice maker is a chronic problem. I'm not sure why GE wouldn't just correct the problem. I regret purchasing this refrigerator.
