- like another reviewer, i find the battery life disappointing. only a few minutes on high/max, which is less than the advertised 10 minutes. - the vacuum is only worthwhile on the max setting. the medium setting is not powerful enough to pick up bread crumbs on a hardwood floor. - the main brush attachment - the turboaction brush - is very minimal and doesn't have enough floor contact. an adjustment for carpet or a separate brush would have been a better solution than the compromise. - on the good side, the vacuum is easy to operate, easy to clean, and lightweight. - i bought this on amazon, without any incentive, and have used it for 1 month.

this vacuum appeared to have been repackaged. i don't know this for certain, but the box was in poor shape, the seals were broken, and additional tape had been added where the box was damaged. i have always had a kirby, but is has become a hassle to lug around our split level house. obviously, the samsung cannot match its performance, but it is quite convenient and works reasonably well. if it had better battery life it would be the perfect solution. it lasts about 10 minutes on mid level power and 1 or 2 minutes on high. the lowest level does not provide enough suction to be useful. maybe the battery is defective? i wish i had purchased through amazon for the free return option.

i was using dyson*for 10yr and switch to samsung brand its more easy to usae you dont have to keep on pressing the button the process are way much more better than dyso*

i've always had cheap $30 cordless shark vacs in the past. i was very hesitant going in because of the lack of reviews/info & b/c of price. i have very low pile carpeting and had doubts whether or not this cordless vac might be strong enough to clean thoroughly. wow, this vacuum sucked up years of garbage which my previous vacuums could not. some cons: dustbin could be bigger (big enough to vacuum one room at a time), the dustbin can be a little tricky putting back on, the balled up dust in bin kinda peeks out if you go too close to max capacity, and lastly i wish the samsung website sold extra parts like batteries/other brush heads for this model. i know the other regional samsung websites have them, not sure why the us website does not. nevertheless - first day and loving it so far!! xd
