As of the 1/1/11 there are no phosphates allowed in California in dishwashing Detergent. This combined with our extreme hard water creates challenges for dishwashers never before experienced.
A chalky white film is the result of hard water deposits.
- Here are a few steps you can use to help your dishwasher perform at it's best. Make sure the water is hot entering the dishwasher. This may mean running the tap at the sink for a bit until the water is very hot.
- Use FINISH® JET-DRY® TURBO DRY® or other rinse aid to help with drying and spotting.
- Use a hard water performance enhancer. We recomend Lemi-Shine ® Super Concentrated. You can use this alone to clean your dishwasher and as an additive to help with dishwashing performance. Read the instructions provided with the product for best results.
- In our area we recomend FINISH® All in 1 POWERBALL® Tabs. They are white and blue with a red ball in the middle. Many manufacturers also recomend this brand and product for their dishwashers.
